All Aquarius Diving Clubs are certified as meeting international standards (EN 14467/ISO 24803) for recreational diving.

In order to receive this certification all areas related to recreational diving and snorkelling are regularly inspected. Like maintenance of equipment and compressors, qualifications of staff, and provision of services according to agreed safety standards. It means our guests can be assured they receive the highest quality in teaching standards and can safely enjoy the diving and snorkeling services we provide.

The Beginning

Our story began a long time ago, not quite as far back as the great Pharoahs but back to a time when Hurghada was just a small fisherman’s village and the 1800km of Egyptian coastline was occupied only by the local Bedouin tribes, these were the days that in order to dive, the planning was the real adventure. Risks were taken and under difficult conditions we dived, explored and sometimes precious jewels of nature were found like Samadai reef in Marsa Alam, It was also on one of these expeditions that our camp Awlad Baraka Eco-lodge was born.

Nowadays the tough conditions of desert safaris have been replaced by the serene comfort of hotels and the diving is now organized and well thought out, you will now find each of Aquarius’s 5 star PADI Gold centre’s are attached to an international hotel but at the very heart of the Aquarius philosophy we have kept our adventurer’s soul and it’s with this passion and dedication to diving that all our projects are created. It’s a passion that we want to share with you, to be part of our journey and live our story, to have the magic of the adventure once again.
