For everybody who visited us at our stands on the German Bootshow and the French dive show Salon de la Plongée we would like to say a very big thank you.

Salon de la Plongée will take place from 13 to 16 January 2012 at the Exhibition Park, hall 6 in Paris-Porte de Versailles. You can find us in stand D 30 - E 25 a.o represented by Eric Belloin and Hesham Mostafa Kamel.

From 21 to 29 January 2012 the Boot Show will open its doors again at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center. And of course Aquarius Diving Club will be there o.a represented by Ilona Wilhelm and Hesham Mostafa Kamel. You can find us in hall 3, stand A 80.

We are very pleased to inform you that the Foreign Ministries of a.o. Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden have lifted the travel restrictions to the Red Sea coast. For the English touroperators we would like to say a very big thank you since they never have stopped bringing their guests to the Red Sea.

On Valentine’s Day 2011 the tourism industry of Hurghada joined efforts to organise WE LOVE EGYPT (see picture on the left) and thank the tourists, who decided to visit the destination apart from all warnings that were given out. More than 1000 tourists and locals came to the event to show the world that the Red Sea is safe and has been safe. Four different bands were playing live on stage while the crowd was celebrating, waving Egyptian flags and having a great time.

So for all of you who want to enjoy a holiday at the Red Sea we would like to say: sun is shining, it is safe, the sea is calm and our diving centers are operating as usual. Aquarius makes your life easy with our brand new diving club Tia Heights based directly in the Marina at Makadi Bay. Our diving boats are moored directly at the hotel just a few metres away from the diving club. The club offers a full range of dive courses and full days diving for beginners and experienced divers. Aquarius Diving Club is very happy to have World Champion Freediver Patrick Musimu running a clinic from our Makadi Bay Centre, Red Sea, Egypt. This clinic 'Understanding yourself and increasing your depth performance' will be conducted by Patrick Musimu. Corporate speaker, Sports & Mental coach and Free Diving champion, Patrick Musimu is the first man ever recorded to dive beyond the 200 meters mental barrier on a single breath. Patrick doesn't teach free diving but rather guide people in their progression to what he calls "The Art of Free Diving". He is well known for his Air Cavity Flooding technique (equalizing his ears and sinuses by flooding them with sea water instead of air), and for developing ‘dry’ Gym training for free diving. Our Freediving Instructor Suzanne Pugh said 'This is a fantastic oportunity to dive with the deepest man in the world and increase our own depth at the same time'.

Makadi Bay is a perfect training location as within the bay area we can reach 100m depth and be sheltered from the waves of the open sea.

On Saturday 25th of September Aquarius took part in the International Clean up day.
It is one of the most-successful traditions in the environmental movement when volunteers descend upon shorelines to participate in the International Clean up day.
For Aquarius team International Clean up Day is the premier event focused on the marine environment in Hurghada, and every year Aquarius is taking active part in removing and documenting the debris found underwater.
