PADI Scuba Review

INFORMATION:

• For certified divers, who have not dived for 12 months or more, it is compulsory to undertake the Scuba Review Course. It only takes a couple of hours including knowledge review, skill review in the pool, and a check dive from one of our boats.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• The knowledge review is good fun and it is amazing how much you remember; the ERDP usually stretches the grey cells a bit though and for many, the last time they did scuba removal and replacement underwater was on their Open Water Course, a wobbly affair for sure. This time round you will wonder what all the fuss was about!

PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER (2 DAYS/5 DIVES)

INFORMATION:

• The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. You'll practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing (it's like a specialty sampler platter). For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® specialty certifications.

PADI Adventure Wreck Dive El Mina (3rd dive of the day)

INFORMATION:

• Whether sunk on purpose as an artificial reef or the result of an accident, wrecks open fascinating windows to the past. Most divers find wrecked ships, airplanes and even automobiles nearly irresistible because they’re intriguing to explore, exciting avenues of discovery, and usually teeming with aquatic life.

• The PADI Wreck Diver course teaches you the ins and outs of rewarding, responsible wreck diving. 4 wreck dives are required in order for you to complete the underwater skills. You must also successfully complete the knowledge reviews.

PADI RESCUE DIVER (4 DAYS)

INFORMATION:

• The four-day Rescue Course is a very important step in expanding your knowledge and experience. As with all PADI courses, it is performance-based and involves classroom, confined water, and shore/boat skill development sessions followed by open water training.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• You will learn self-rescue and diver stress, diving first aid, emergency management, equipment considerations, tired diver, panicked diver, a response from shore or boat with both a conscious and unconscious victim, distressed diver, surfacing an unconscious diver, an unconscious diver at the surface, first aid for pressure-related injuries, underwater search scenarios, response and management scenarios. Proof of current EFR and first aid training is required before the commencement of the course

PADI SPECIALTY ENRICHED AIR DIVER COURSE (NITROX) (1 DAY) THEORY ONLY

INFORMATION:

• The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.

• This course introduces and trains divers in the use of oxygen-enriched air from 22% to 40% but mainly on the more commonly available mixes of 32% and 36%. The course includes academics and introductions to new tables for enriched air.

• Are you an Advanced Diver looking to explore deeper waters but lack the knowledge and experience to dive deeper than 30 meters? Then perhaps the PADI Deep Diver Speciality Course is the answer!
• The purpose of the PADI Deep Diver Speciality Course is to familiarize divers with the skills, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards, and enjoyment of diving between the depths of 18 meters and 40 meters. Course participants will be taught the correct use of Delayed Surface Marker Buoys, free water ascents, and mandatory safety stops.

• The PADI Boat Diving Specialty familiarizes you with diving from boats, whether it’s from small inflatables to giant live-aboards. While the Boat Diver specialty may not be the most appealing one when compared to wreck diving, underwater photography or Deep Diving, this course is a core essential for any diver starting out in Scuba Diving as it equips you with a skill that you will perhaps most frequently use throughout your diving career.
