Technical Diving FAQs

What is technical diving?

Technical diving goes beyond recreational no-stop limits — using planned decompression, mixed gases such as trimix, and closed-circuit rebreathers to dive deeper and longer, with the training and redundancy to do it safely.

Where can I learn technical diving in Hurghada?

Double Wing Tek, based at the Marriott Beach Resort in Hurghada, is the Red Sea's dedicated technical-diving academy. It is led by world-record holder Ahmed Gabr and runs TDI, PADI Tec and IANTD courses from Intro to Tech through trimix and rebreather.
